  • Portugal

    Our 2022 fall trip to Portugal had many of this colourful country's highlights packed into 8 days. Some of those highlights included, exploring Lisbon's postcard-perfect scenery and cobbled alleyways, visiting the fishing town of Nazaré and observing the gigantic waves that can tower up to 100 feet! We also explored the Monastery of Batalha, one of Portuguese`s most beautiful structure of gothic architecture. The Portuguese sights were a wonder for our entire group.

  • Tuscany 

    Our 2023 fall trip to Tuscany is where we stayed for 9 days visiting Florence to explore the Renaissance art as well as the architecture, hiking the hills of Tuscany and seeing so many historic monuments. We also braved the trek up the stairs of the Leaning Tower of Pisa while exploring the area. We also experienced the art of wine-making at a couple of Tuscan wineries where we tasted a local varieties.

  • Ireland 

    Our 2024 spring trip to Ireland is were we stayed for ten days exploring the many beautiful places this country had to offer. Some of the highlights included visiting Dublin which is known for it's medieval and historic sights, exploring the Blarney Castle, the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry and a short cruise on the Lough Corrib In Galway. All of these places and experience making our trip feel full of history and fun.

    The Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce acknowledges that we gather on Treaty One Territory, traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininewak, and Dakota Oyate peoples, and the national homeland of the Red River Métis. We recognize the presence of the Denesuline, Anisininewuk, and Inuit nations in our community. Our drinking water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation in Treaty Three Territory, and our energy comes from Treaty Five Territory in Northern Manitoba.
