Each golfer receives:- 18-holes of golf (split tee format)

- practice facilities (10:30 am to 12:00 pm)

Description
More than 100 business leaders will gather for golf and comradery to celebrate and support literacy in West Winnipeg.
All money raised stays in West Winnipeg and supports children and adults who struggle with reading, writing and math.
The Golf for Literacy event is a joint fundraising event of the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Winnipeg-Assiniboine and the Rotary Club of Winnipeg-Charleswood.
Goals for the Event:- raise awareness of literacy issues in West Winnipeg
- promote policies that support literacy in West Winnipeg
- support literacy programs for children and adults in West Winnipeg
Where does the money go?
Funds raised support the work of groups within West Winnipeg that focus their strengths and passion to improving literacy in our district.
This year’s funds will be shared between:- Stevenson Britannia Adult Learning Centre
- St. James-Assiniboia Parent Child Coalition & New Immigrant Program
- Westgrove School (Pembina Trails School Division)
- Urban Stable
