Description
Don Boitson, Vice President of North American Operations with Magellan Aerospace will provide an in-depth look at Winnipeg's Aerospace Industry, the value to our local and international economy and developments within the industry overall. Magellan Aerospace is well known for the development and production of the Black Brant Sounding Rocket first flown in 1962 and continues to produce complex aeroengine components and advanced aerostructure fabrications. The Winnipeg facility is the largest employing over 700 people.
Manitoba’s globally competitive aerospace sector produces world-class products for customers on six continents and is the third largest aerospace centre in Canada. Join the chamber as we learn more of this exciting and valuable industry to our local economy.
